Contact Lenses FAQ's
Do I need my prescription to palce an order?
Yes. We need a valid prescription for every order (it’s the law). If you don’t have a copy of your prescription, you can still order contact lenses from us. Just search for your eye doctor’s info on our site when you order. All you’ll need is your eye care provider’s name (or clinic name), city, and state.
After you submit your order, we’ll verify your prescription with your eye care provider to make super-sure you get the correct contacts. This may take up to one business day.
What if I don't have my prescription?
Not, to worry. We can contact your eye doctor provider and get a copy for you.
What information do I need to order contact lenses?
A contact lens prescription is made up of specific data which we require to fill your order. All of this information is available on the packaging of the contact lenses you are currently wearing or from your optometrist or optician. Be sure it contains all necessary information, including expiration date, and is signed by your eye care professional.
How do I know if my prescription is still valid?
All contact lenses prescriptions include an expiration date, typically one year after the prescription is issued. Look at your prescription to find the expiration date or contact your optometrist’s office to request a copy or schedule a new exam.
Can I use my glasses prescription to purchase contact lenses?
No, a glasses prescription does not include the same information as a contact lens prescription and cannot be used to purchase contact lens.
How can I return a product?
It’s easy to return contact lenses at Niuvisions.com Just give us an email contact@niucontacts.com .
Please do not return your order without first contacting us. We need to provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization number to ensure your return is handled quickly and efficiently.
